On a serious note, who knows how he'll do. Bill will have the pro football "big money" mindset and can use that to bring in players for lucrative NIL deals.

His name alone will start getting national attention for a program that certainly needs it. Maybe some good players looking around for a place to go might now consider UNC. I hope Belichick turns it around just to be able to see it happen and watch the games. Yeah I know..."but it's the ACC".

I keed , I keed. I actually heard about the results of the game in the middle of the desert waiting for the air war to begin in first Gulf War. Another pilot in my unit sat there with me and almost cried. His father was an assistant coach under Tom Osborne at Nebraska. I felt sorry for him, but still gave him hell, lol! I was 100% a Tech fan on January 2nd, 1991!

RB’s are a dime a dozen. The best player in CFB won the Heisman. Boise St RB played powder puff defenses. Hunter is a true athlete on both sides of the ball. You will hear his name on Sundays for a long time vs another average RB in the NFL. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Travis Hunter’s 2024 stats didn’t even rank him as the number one receiver in his own conference.

He’s a great player, but it’s really arguable he’s the best player on college football.

He's the best athlete for sure. It's hard to say how much he'd have excelled at WR or DB if he concentrated on just one of them. We'll find out at the next level.

If you see someone with a Georgia Tech hat, etc. - they either went to GT or their kid does. How many people wearing UGA or AL colors actually went to UGA or AL?

Never forget that year. Tech beat Nebraska that year and unfortunately Colorado beat Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl on a clipping penalty on a 92yd punt return with 40 something seconds left. The “Rocket” ran it back and ND was called for clipping that opened the door for Co Champs!
