The season isn't over....
Who knows - it might end up being UGA vs Texas in the big game.
I'd say the SEC has done pretty well over the last few years.
Oh and Georgia won in 1980!

Are you still celebrating New Year's Day? Probably need to stop pouring now.... Nobody cares what you did last year...lol. It means nothing....ancient history.
The championships are still there, so they count when comparing conferences. All the haters want to ignore the championships the SEC schools have hanging on the wall. Do they guarantee future success, no of course not. With 12 teams and more probably to come, it's so tough for any school to win it all.
The portal and NIL have certainly changed college football and not in a good way.
Texas seems to be doing well.

I'm sure there are lots of die hard UGA fans with ringtones of..."Lindsay Scott....Lindsay Scott, run Lindsay".
And, and...they named their sons Buck or Vince.
Because Georgia DID win the 1980 championship at the sugar bowl.
I was just a young man when UGA won it all in 1980 and I got to see the highlights on my 10” black and white tv. That game set the stage for me to endure the better part of 40 years of mediocre football before climbing the mountain twice again.
I’m not an SEC homer, I am a Dawg… always have been and Lord willing, always will be. I despise all other teams, I don’t root for the enemy of my enemies, I want them to lose equally.
