2024 College Football thread.

Now watching Alabama V. South Florida.

I hate to sound like Hank Hill, but, Good Lord! we hit quarterbacks harder playing sandlot football as a pre-teen.

You can't touch a quarterback, or just push him out of bounds without getting a penalty? WTH?

(I know, I know, it's all about getting them to the NFL...all about the Benjamins (to the 3rd power).

But, but, he's from Buford? Or Prince Avenue?
Never mind, I really don't care.
Some broadcasters were talking him up for next week's game. How great he'll be against the Dawgs since he "knows" all about Georgia from being a B.U. Q'back.
So, is it better to be a backup on the best team in the nation, or a starter on a team that'll be lucky to finish in the top 25?
Tough choice....

It is tough.
The b/u once may have gotten a shot in the pros, but not likely today.

A starter for a tier two team is still a starter and may have shot.

IDK?

9 Dawgs off the 2020 defense in 1 nfl postgame pick. 7 of these guys were starters on the 2021 national championship defense.
