I wouldn’t mind that, but I believe Penn State may truly be one of the few teams that have no real business being in the playoffs.
If the playoffs weren’t hamstrung with automatic bids for conference winners and sentimental selections, Penn State, Arizona State, Alabama, and whoever wins this lame ACC matchup between Clemson and SMU could all sit on the same couch and watch South Carolina and Miami in the playoffs.
If Penn State beats Oregon they deserve a bid. If they don’t they deserve to be sitting around their grandma’s table in Scranton eating tailored ham on playoff day celebrating their win over Alabama in the Goodrich Valve Stem Bowl.
Or maybe the committee is 100% correct, lol

I tried to watch some of that Oregon/Penn State game…..
But I can’t listen to Gary Daniel’s yammer on for more that about 10 seconds. I was so happy when ESPN got the SEC and CBS got dropped!

Were you watching the same game I watched? Quite possibly the two best teams in the country. Georgia’s two losses were in Tuscaloosa and away at Ole Miss. Outstanding defensive performance coupled with Stockton stepping up and changing the entire tempo. Will going to Louisiana and whipping someone else change your mind?Natty?
