2024 Velvet bucks

Hope he makes it to srping!!

That’s cause I’m convinced mfoster mfoster breads them with horses to get his deer that big lol
Just fortunate to have enough land to manage, so they can get 5,6,7,years old that’s where the weight mixed with decent genetics, with plenty summer and winter food.the hard part is letting 120-130 inch 3 and 4 year olds go to reach 5+

Sambo those bucks with stickers and wild looking racks are my favorite.
I've never had one on I've seen at our place like this. I shot one a few years ago that was main frame 8 that had a split starting on his g2 but nothing to the caliber of this buck. I really want to take him this year and know anyone in my club or surrounding area would, but what I really wish I could do is let him pass and get to be 5.5. I saw him last year and he was just a 6, no brow tines. Those backward facing splits/stickers would have a real good chance of turning into a drop tine I would imagine. But I know I'd be the only one withing miles to let him walk so I won't.

What are yall's thoughts on this spike? Looks to be a fairly older deer with massive spikes with a lot of mass. I'm trying to decide weather it's a management buck and should take or a pass. If it is the same one I had on camera like this last year the velvet never sheds.
