2025 College football thread

I’m not saying it was the right thing to do, but allowing someone to score in that situation (Alabama at SC) is not uncommon. The idea is would you rather get the ball back or have your opponent win as the clock expires? Very good chance the defensive coordinator instructed his defense to let them score in that scenario.
It looked like the whole new "don't hurt (touch) the quarterback" crap of the new generation of NCAA / FBS / CFP

I haven't really watched any games in a while due to not having cable at home, so maybe I've missed something. Is offensive holding not a penalty anymore? Seen a ton of it not called this year watching highlights and seen what I thought were several egregious holds in this game completely ignored.

Too bad South Carolina couldn't pull it out and beat Bama. Crappy ending....

The Ole Miss win was a good one.

Tech looks good this year. Wonder how many more wins they can get? Can the Yellow Jackets beat UGA this year and get in the playoffs??

I thought SC Bama would been a blowout bama. The Roosters played tough& should won didn’t happen. SC lost 5 out 6 Sec games this year ( Beamer ) on hot seat now made some dumb play calls last few minutes defense ran out gas.
