That’s where I want to go. I can’t imagine getting a 12 footer, but I know they are there, and that’s why I want Seminole.

I’m going to try and find the best guide I can find.

Points only is not applying for a hunt. It’s applying for points to use towards a hunt later. Certain hunts take a certain amount of points based on popularity. For instance, if you know you won’t be able to attend a hunt this year, apply for points only. If you want to attend a hunt this year, apply for the hunt. If you have 8 points toward BF Grant 2nd hunt and you throw all 8 at it, you could get chosen and get a couple points back depending on how many it took to win. If you have 8 points toward BF Grant 2nd hunt and you throw 4 at it, you could lose and just get your 4 points back with no hunt. Make sense?

Seminole Gator used to only take 3 points but now that it’s grown in popularity, it takes at least 6 but likely 8 to draw a tag.

We have club tags for gators and hens and they can be taken year around. Ill pu in for points only.

He isn’t exaggerating. We are 2 for 2 with Chris on Seminole.
2014- went solo w/Chris and killed an 8’9” gator after hooking and losing a solid 11 or 12 footer. It jumped like a darn Tarpon while fighting it on a rod and reel. It dove down into some heavy timber and broke me off.
2020- w/my Father and Daughter and killed one that taped 11’3” after passing several that were around 10’ long.

The State needs to limit the # of nonresident tags issued per Zone so that Georgians have more opportunity.
