He isn’t exaggerating. We are 2 for 2 with Chris on Seminole.
2014- went solo w/Chris and killed an 8’9” gator after hooking and losing a solid 11 or 12 footer. It jumped like a darn Tarpon while fighting it on a rod and reel. It dove down into some heavy timber and broke me off.
2020- w/my Father and Daughter and killed one that taped 11’3” after passing several that were around 10’ long.

My Dad made a bad toss with the harpoon to try and get a second line in my big gator. Hit him inside the mouth. Gator snapped it like a twig. When we finally got him down, I zipped him open to try and find the harpoon head. He had the front half of a doe and 3 GROWN turtles in his belly.

What’s crazy is people are posting one even bigger around the sandbar down from Blanton Creek campground as recent as last week too!

The guys just got it back in April of this year

Hell the state record is only 7-8” longer. Big Al’s a dinosaur for sure.

Mine had a spinnerbait in his gut that was mostly dissolved and he also had a bullet in his head that was not mine.
