.22 LR plinking rifle suggestions

I got my Mueller scope and Harris Bipod from Amazon. Got the Apachee Trigger kit and Boyd's Evo stock directly from the manufacturer. AAC Element II from the Silencer Shop.

I gave my OEM stock to a friend last year. Sorry.

I hate I missed your stock too. Anyone else have a takeoff stock for a FVSR? I want to try a paint job but not on my only one!!!!

I have a savage MARK II, not sure if they still make those or not?
it was well below 200 bucks and its a lil tack driver.
mines got a syn stock on it but that accu -trigger is a killer.View attachment 1546065
I had one of these few years ago in .17 mach II. I was never happy with the rifle.

Still looking for that Savage FVSR take off stock. I know there is one out there in ODTville somewhere. Someone help a brother out.

there are so many options, you just need to decide the direction want to go and your budget. Some thoughts:

10/22 and variants- semi auto, sky's the limit when it comes to modifications. and price. :)

Smith and Wesson 15/22- AR style, so has the looks of an AR but with cheap 22lr ammo. Again you can do a lot as they take most standard AR15 accessories (lights, lasers, sights, scopes, grips, etc).

Bolts guns- budget (Savage and Ruger American), mid price (Ruger 77/22, Remington, Winchester), higher end (Cooper, Anshutz). Older (Model 52), newer, etc.

Pump rifles- Rossi/Taurus, Winchester, Browning

I shoot a lot of 22's. Variety is the spice of life. sometimes I want an old winchester pump gun, sometimes a 52, sometimes my Magnum Research 10/22 clone. Red dot, magnified scope, iron sights, etc.

Ill keep this in mind. I'll be upgrading mine in the next month or so and won't have any interest in keeping the stock
