.22 suppressor deals?

Why can't you take apart the pilot2?

You can it's just not as easy to take a part and put back together based on what I'm seeing in my research. It's all good stuff. AAC is certainly top tier but it seems the Pilot 2 just isn't quite as good as the Sparrow. At least it seems that way to me.

Stainless cans and designs like the Sparrow are definitely easier to clean and take apart. But the so-called difficulties of cleaning and take apart with aluminum cans are way overblown. All these new-fangled stainless, clam shell designs, etc., used to not be available, and many of us somehow managed to survive in those "dark ages".

With an aluminum can all I do is smear the internals in Bore Butter, and then I clean it about every 500 - 750 rounds. Cleaning it involves a quick wipe or knock off, and if I really want to be anal, I might soak it in some acetone or synthetic Gun Scrubber. As far as take apart, I just put some anti-seize on the threads, and unscrew them when I am done shooting and while the can is still hot. Many many thousands of rounds through my aluminum cans, and I have never had an issue with cleaning or take apart.

That being said I'd still probably get stainless unless weight was just your top priority.
