I saw a rabbit that had been shot with a .22 mag about 30 years ago and it blew the guts right out of that rascal.

I love my 22 mag, hell I am wanting to get another one! Just wished they had some good semi autos that could be found.

I almost picked up a marlin bolt action mag fed at Walmart for $239 the other day. I wish I "pulled that trigger" ballistically speaking it is the middle ground between .223 and 22lr

... Stopped by today and posted up about 40 yards from the Shed. Figured if I could smack atleast one of them the Mama would move the litter elsewhere. Well this one and another one came out from underneath the shed. Popped both of them with the .22 Magnum. GOOD LORD that 30 Grain Hornady VMax bullet does some SERIOUS damage. Here is a pic of the first one I got. Second one I hit took the head almost completely off so I didnt wanna post that pic as its a little disturbing. Lol.

Hopefully they will move on. If not, I'll be back.

oops lol! but i am impressed with the damage.i just bought 100 rds of the stuff you used .gave my brother 5 rounds for his naa 22 pistol...guess it is a good self defense pocket pistol.

You are allowed to eradicate animals out of season if they are damaging property, or for safety. I think he is fine.
