.223/.556/ 9mm ammo

Man the people in this thread. Get into reloding so you don’t scalped by these flippers. If I wasn’t liable for my reloads, I’d give you 1000 rounds for what it cost me..... $120. Literally you can buy the press, dies, powder etc and make 1000 rounds for what these people are trying to rip you for. PM me and I can walk you through everything you need, where to get them, and send you pics of reloding data so you aren’t going in blind.

tell it brother

Agree with the reloading, but he’s late to that game too. The crackheads are putting up primers for $100/k. Clown world.

My favorite so far is the guy that puts up a $350 pistol and what’s to trade it for 2000 5.56. On another board he’s got 500 rounds of wolf steel listed for $450.

Yea. Small pistol primers and some powders are almost as hard to find as loaded rounds. The price of components has gone up as well. Alot of folks just can't get ammo and have done exactly what you are suggesting in reloading.
I reload, but personally it makes no sense to do it financially even at 80 cents a round. Most folks are not going to shoot more than 1k rounds (most folks, there are exceptions). Those that do, stock piled more than likely. The cheapest I can reload 9mm with componets I've had for years is just under 7 cents per round (and thats with free brass). Thats not including buying a press, dies, manuals, tools, tumblers, etc etc etc. With a single stage press I can take the raw componets to finished rounds and average a 50 round box in an hour not including set up, picking up brass, etc. So you have to figure in that time as well.
I use my press to make ammo to my specs or ammo that is more expensive. As an example, I reload ammo for competition to specifically make power factor that I can't buy anything like it. Or 458 SOCOM thats $2+ a round. Or 300 blk to shoot surpressed. You get the point.
Pulling back on topic. Ammo can be had. Depending on what you are looking for, you can find folks on here that will give it away (an ODT member gifted me some last week). However, don't expect it and appreciate it greatly when they do. Heck I've even bought anmo on a deal and posted it here for folks at the same price and supplied pics of the receipt for verification. By the same token, it also depends on what you are looking for. You shouldn't expect 2018 tula case pricing on Speer gold dot rounds. Thats why I asked what was the OP looking for in my post. I dont have any bulk stuff, but I do have some higher end defense loads.
In the end, I dont complain about flippers or the $800 Gucci glock because unless they are forced to buy it they can walk away. When Cheaper than dirt is selling 9mm range ammo at $75 a box plus tax and shipping Im not gonna get butt hurt over someone "wanting" $1 a round for theirs.
