I've seen the ones you've linked to and made an offer on the camo (not really my thing) and the Ellijay is just too far. I've had the MK's and a Standard, I really like them and I grew up shooting my dad's HS "The Victor" (The old CT model not the TX). I've only handled the Mosquito, SR22, P22, ect at the shops... think I prefer the fixed barrel models.

Great guns but for target you are in the right place with MK, Buckmark, HS Victor (good luck finding one that won't cost you a kidney)..

Well I do have 2... :/
Most I've seen around the $700~$1000. I've priced my dad's model at around $1200. And after I showed him that there is no way I'm gunna get that from him any time soon. (Less then $200 new he paid, 40+yrs ago. He loves it but doesn't shoot it)

I have one I will be selling. Unfortunately, they are beyond the price range you have established. 6½" tapered barrel model. Sweet shooter!

I have a stainless Mark II Target slab side with I believe 6.5 inch barrel and target grips. Box and all paperwork. But it would be a little over your price range.
