23 States ban hollow point ammo

New Jersey has had a ban on them for years. You can get sent up the river there for just as long for hollow points as you would for an unregistered handgun.

This is total BS. There are only two methods to enact laws: at the Federal government level (affecting all states) or the state level (affecting that individual state only).

The Federal level enactment of a bill is introduced in the House or Senate, usually a companion bill is introduced in each. Then it goes to committee or even subcommittee. Then if it's supported by the committee, it goes for a vote in each legislative branch. Then a conference committee works out the particulars to satisfy all parties then the resultant bill is sent to House and Senate for a vote. If the Yeas out number the Nays (I can't remember if it's 51%/67%/75%). If it gets the majority in the House and Senate, a final bill is drafted and sent to the Executive Branch for the President's signature or veto.

An almost identical process takes place in each individual state, where the Governor decides the ultimate bill's fate: either signature or veto.

Where'd you get that? That's just plain crazy talk! Every body knows that the President decides what laws are going to be passed by the States....jeesh.

Ridiculous. Ammo is no more dangerous than the gun. They are tools! New Jersey smh
Well you have to remember that New Jersey is a deep blue Democrat and big union state. Seriously you can't pump your own gas up there because that's a union job. So all gas stations are full service. At the same time a $100.00 Hi Point down here is probably worth $400.00 or more up there. That's how screwed up New Jersey and the Northeast is.
