Yep. I upgraded mine from a stock 18 pound recoil spring to a 22 pound recoil spring From Galloway Precision and that took out some of the snappishness. Minimally harder to rack though.

Thanks for the interesting video! Honestly, I haven't wondered about the difference in performance between these two models before. However, the video material helped me learn a little more. I think that now when I choose a short-barreled weapon, I will prefer what. Although at the moment, I am in the process of choosing the appropriate scope for hunting coyotes.
