2nd amendment greetings from Athens, GA

Okay, I'll be "that guy."

I'm Kelly Richardson, and I'm proud to call Athens, Georgia, my home. For as long as I can remember, I've been a steadfast advocate for responsible gun ownership and the rights granted to us by the Second Amendment. (The right to keep and bear arms is an inalienable right, guaranteed by the inclusion of the Second Amendment. It is not now nor has it ever been "granted".)

I truly believe that owning a firearm is a fundamental right, but it's one that comes with a lot of responsibility.
Being a part of Georgia's vibrant gun-owning community has shown me just how crucial education, training, and ethical conduct are for all of us. I'm really passionate about fostering a culture where everyone who owns a firearm is informed and responsible in how they use it. That's why I'm always supporting initiatives (maybe regulations or laws?) that promote safety courses and encourage community engagement. You'll often find me participating in local discussions and working to ensure that the rights of law-abiding citizens like myself, to keep and bear arms, are protected for generations to come.

I appreciate all viewpoints and opinions.

Not being a pill, just have an issue with people using the word "but" when talking about my rights as a man.

If you swim in the Clarke Co crowd, good luck to you and you are welcome here.

Welcome Fellow Gun Enthusiast. Regarding the second amendment I am of the opinion that the states reserve the right to oppose the general government if need be. Every citizen is a soldier and every soldier a citizen. It is the duty of individuals to defend our government from all enemies both foreign and domestic. Relative to current issues a non-citizen has no right to possess a firearm because the fourteenth amendment recognizes only the rights of “citizens”. Your neighbor but further to the south and even further to the west in a county blessed with only “one red light”.
