30-30 loads

I like 150 and 170gn Speer FN bullets and BL-C(2), H322, and IMR 4064. Not loading for max velocity. In my M94, all loads were reasonably accurate (1.5-3" at 100 yards) and none were earth-shattering. Seemed to all shoot as well or better than factory.
Don't have a record of my cast lead loads--lost them somewhere years ago, but a 170+ gn gas check bullet with a long bearing surface worked best.

I used to load 150 gr rn Hornady and 170 gr fp Hornady with 4895 powder and the maximum load from Lyman book. Worked better than factory Remmies for me.

I worked up a low-recoil load with 125-gr. Sierra flat-nose hollow points that ranged between 30-33 gr. IMR 4895 with better-than-factory accuracy for several different lever actions.
