300 subsonic ammo

Just be careful with the SIG subsonic. It shoots great. But even with the hunting tip it will not expand at that velocity. It pushes a 30 cal hole straight thru a deer with 0 expansion.
The Hornady stuff I havent tried in 300. However their claim is that it is specifically designed to expand down to 950 (I think). I do like the same line in 45 70.
Lehigh made some subsonics that would expand great. They were $60 plus a box of 20. But they worked great on deer. Id suggest them or underwood ammo 194 gr (I think) Maximum Expansion.

Thanks for the info. I ordered 2 boxes of the Hornady sub x in August. Ship date was 2 weeks, then Oct, and now saying December. The Lehigh 194's look great as well. Just no where to be found.
What do you have?
