300blk Mossberg MVP

No worries. Ill try to get her out there asap, need to dial in that scope anyways. Now to just move to a state where I can hunt with a suppressor!

Nate are yall going to offer some 300blk model rifles eventually? That would go awesome with your ammo

Wow. That's gotta be a sweet shooter. Build photos or video and an editorial would be YouTube gold. I'd watch it. Can't wait to see a performance review.

Since this was the 1st MVP 223-300 BO conversion I had attempted, I didn't think to take any build photos or vids. I can say however that instead of following the conventional Savage blueprint of using a removable barrel nut I opted to follow the Remington model of a torqued barrel in the receiver.

Once I had decided on that, I turned the barrel blank shank to match the OD of the recoil lug and then proceeded to thread and chamber it just as I would any other precision rifle. Once complete Midnight Blue Cerakote was applied for a perfect match with the other existing native parts.

Oh, and I threaded the muzzle 5/8 X 24 and installed an AAC Blackout adaptor that JD supplied.

I had to think through the steps very carefully and deliberately on this one, but the next one will come together much quicker.

Sounds like you'll have the process down/perfected soon and make turn around time quick. With the somewhat affordable prices on MVP's, this is looking like a monster of a suppressed any game rifle. Or live out a little sniper fantasy! Nice work!
Added you on FB too.

You bet! I may have to order a few of the barrel blanks to keep them on hand if this really caught on.

Thanks for the FB add!
