My Dad's Aunt Isabel, who lived her whole life in a small community in Nova Scotia, was the last rural mail carrier on horseback. She decided to retire when they changed over to automobiles!

My father retired from the USPS - put in like 40 yrs or something! It’s not a bad job at all….

Yeah, I’m sure it has changed drastically over the years. I still remember him and his buddies carrying on about the PO back when I was young. It sounded very political back then. I’m sure it is completely terrible now. So much so that I don’t want to find out….especially first hand ! Lol.
