351 windsor

Older the better, check any junk yards yet. If you're goin hotrod i'd try to find an old truck motor. I got 3 302's , I'd let you have one = you pick it up. Everything's there needs built
Thanks, I've got a 302 in my mustang now but I'm really wanting to go with a 408. The 351windsor with a stroker kit is suppose to be a beast.

The newer 351w blocks are considerably weaker than the early 70s blocks.

You can convert the early 70s blocks to 4-bolt main and they'll hold a lot . . . went 5.80s in the 1/8 on one in a 90 notch. The main webs in the 60s/early 70s blocks look like Ford was going to do a 4-bolt main block anyways. There's very little undercut unlike the later model blocks.

The only thing I have left from that car is a victor jr intake hunt247ga. Not sure what you are planning on building but it would be perfect for a 400" motor in a decently built street car and I'd love to get it out of the way.
