357 sig projectiles FN or RN?

I'm relatively new at reloading. I mentioned in another post I've loaded and shot 124gr RN. Nothing in my books advise against it but reading some of your posts got me spooked. I measured both FN and RN they are the same length. What's the difference? Is it dangerous? If so should I just pull the rest of loads I've made and use other projectiles? What should I use instead?

Don't have my book in front of me but you'll want the flat, round nose will be too long which means not only will you have problems seating it correctly, it will be too long unless you compress the powder which is dangerous.Can't recall the correct nomenclature for the bullet to use but shape should be flat nose like a hollow point not round

FN. That's what it was designed for. However, you can load data for almost every 9mm bullet.
