I currently load 44 spl. I load it for a revolver and had never thought about the subsonic aspect. I've been loading 240 jhp. I'll do some more of those but I'll start looking for bigger and heavier. First I have to get a 44 rifle with a threaded barrel. I do have a 450 Bushmaster AR. I'm going to get some of the Hornady Sub-X for that. That's a 395 gr quiet thumper.

I hear that more experienced Reloaders can do
A bit more with 45LC, unfortunately I couldn’t find a bolt gun in it, and I wouldn’t dare thread a trap door

It works great but I just don’t like lever guns that much tbh

It's awesome suppressed with subs. And you can get some good super loads as well.

This is exactly what I always suspect when somebody it was to try, you could kill a deer with a suppressed subsonic round.

Hey @Laxguy59…you ever check group size with that M77? I feel like mine left a lot to be desired but I didn’t try many loads.

I never measured it, but I always felt like it held tight enough groups at 100 yards
