.45 GAP

Why? Every round was a hybrid at some point in time. .45 GAP has identical ballistics to acp, with identical diameter and bullet weight, but in a smaller handgun. It fills a niche for those who do not care for the bigger framed guns. Don't knock it if you haven't shot one. I never gave it a second thought until I shot one.
If its so identical why does the ammo cost twice the amount lol jk

I just dont see the purpose honestly

45 or 9; if you wanna go hybrid get tgat 10mm

If you're willing to buy ammo by the Case, and look around for it, .45 GAP can still be found very reasonably, price-wise...'Course, if you're the kinda' guy who buys his Ammo at WallyWorld or at the Pawnshop five or six rounds at a time, it's probably not for you... :)

I carried the Glock 37 and 39 for work before before changing them out for a 17 and 43 backup. Went from carrying 31 rounds of 45 gap on duty belt to 69 with the 17/43. Still felt more confident shooting the 37. Bought both 37/39 when we changed over and still my favorite handguns to shoot.

because .45 gap was gay lol

nuff said. **** hybrid rounds for real though
There it is! I habe zero experience with the round but I can see why it failed. Think about it, people don't even want a 40 anymore. And that round was THE **** from around 91 to at least 99. I'm no ballistics expert and don't wanna be but to ME I just don't care about less than common rounds. If I feel a need for bigger than 9mm I automatically go to 45ACP . I would never even consider 45GAY or 357Sig. I don't care how it performs or put performs all my old school calibers. I don't reload and even if I did it's still not worth it.

Here's my very simple rule for calibers. If I need ammo on a Sunday or in some one caution light town I'm fairly certain the Ace Hardware or Wal-Mart will have 9mm,357/38 Special and 45ACP. MAYBE they'll have some 40. But all them late model calibers? Hell no! Why complicate matters when Glock already has pistols in 45ACP?

Yup, and .223 and .308 and .30-06 and .270 and .30-30 and probably 7mm Rem Mag. Maybe even some 7.62x39mm. But not 6.5 Creedmoor. Or .224 Valkyrie. Or .300 BO. Or anything RUM. 12 gauge and 20 gauge, but probably not 16 or 28. Etc.
