.45 or 9mm Carbine?

Which one do you enjoy shooting the most? Why? Pics are welcome too.

I love the sound and flash of a .45 but it sure is heavy. Both make me smile.....

Going with the 9mm . Got a lot in 9mm. It’s family friendly on recoil , it’s inexpensive, and I don’t need to measure my manliness or manhood by toting .45 , tho I do have some .

45 is the top choice in terms of raw stopping power. 9mm through a 16" barrel brings the velocity up beyond the protection level of body armor. What criteria are you basing your selection? Price per round? Penetration?

Either complete upper in the two calibers in the Ar platform will be $350-$450.

I prefer 45 Glock mag ar carbines like those from new frontier armory.

Weight isn’t too bad, quiet suppressed, and good subsonic hollow points.

But still 357 and 44 carbines are better

It's sad - I rarely shoot the Thompson 'cause the weight is so substantial.

Although the Suomi with a drum is up there in weight, too.

9mm. Every time I break out a 9 SBR and let others try, they immediately want one. Nevertheless, I still want to build a 45 SBR.
