6.5 creedmoor for deer

Why is the 6.5 Creedmoor for hunting deer size game still an issue?
Is some Hill Jack still reading some magazine from 2008 about 6.5 Creedmoor ammo?

Knock, Knock dunderhead. We have had good 6.5 hunting ammo for almost 20 years now. Stop thinking its all match ammunition
Outdoor life and a couple others places have been blasting it on facebook again. Most of it comes from the “big middle/pieplate” crowd or improper bullet selection. Some of the tipped match ammo has more terminal performance than hunting ammo.

Iirc Joseph von Benedict talked about how the controversy had been almost identical to the 270win.

The 140 grain stuff is good in the 6.5 calibers. For factory ammo I like the Remington CoreLokt, but if you hand load, try the Berger 135 grain Classic Hunter. They are like little grenades out of my 6.5 Creedmoor and Swede.

I think the 6.5 CM debate needs to die. It’s extremely accurate, gets new shooters easily into long range shooting, and it absolutely hammers most game in North America. It’s been out for 18 years now. There is more than enough data on its success.
