Norma Whitetail 140 gr. Bonded soft point ammo is as low as 35 bucks a box on PSA's website. I don't think you will find it any cheaper than that. I just bought 4 boxes and I am going to buy a lot more. My Howa 1500 loves that ammo and stamps sun MOA groups with it. I am. It sure how will perform in other rifles but my barrel absolutely loves it. This is the target I used to zero the scope in with that ammo. It was set up for Hornady Match ammo. After two shots and two adjustments it stamped this three shot group @ 100 yards so I called or good. It's ready for the deer stand after the 15th here. You can't beat this grouping with a stick and puts Hornady Match to shame. It seems I saw it for 29 bucks a box somewhere but shipping might offset the savings over PSA.
I might have to take a trip to Lynchburg today.
