I think the article is a load of crap, but those beers are all foreign owned crappy beers anyway. Micro brews are the way to go.

The best beer that I have ever had was a dark alt beer while stationed in Wiesbaden Germany. It had a great taste (to me) and was potent as hell.

I don't drink any of those, with the exception of a very rare guinness, and I don't drink much in the way of foreign beer either...I mostly drink Stone, Rogue and Avery. Also, I'm not sure why Isinglass is a big deal, unless your vegan. There aren't any real health detriments and the amount that remains in the beer is absolutely minuscule.
