i just don't see the point in putting a man on trial after all that time, he already reached 89 and has dementia which will only get worse as evident from grandmothers experience and trust me putting someone with dementia on trial will probably not be very productive. i can see revoking further social security payments and medicare. etc heck even deport him for lieing on his immigration papers but not prison time
the Nazi hunters are running low on people to look for so they will look for anyone even that guy assigned to guard the prison camp gate

actually according to the article he was set to be sent out earlier in the 2000s but two points kept the judge from doing it

-he was a minor technically when he enlisted
-he claims to have worked outside the camp and had no knowledge of what went on (which is probably bs but its about what you can prove)
