9/26/15 am deer hunt

It was bone dry in Whitesburg his evening. It was raining when we left the house and quit completely 5 miles from my lease. Mya and I had a spike come out into the food plot at 6:35. She shot a tad low and missed at 40 yards. I'll be back this week with my recurve in hand trying to break the ice.

Got tricked by a deer huh? Happened to me a couple times as well

Been to my new ladder three times now and saw zero deer where I saw 6 cross last week.

I'm gonna tuck it deeper into the hardwoods for better concealment.
Found a couple good climber only spots I'm gonna try out for archery.

Made some deer chili last night from the doe I got first day.
One habanero pepper in the mix really lit the fire..... Yeah baby!
