Seems like an auction would be more complicated.
Just post the goods at unrealistic prices and never reduce the price.
If no one buys at the inflated price, then put it back in the safe. Now it mo betta

If you post an item for sale the sale price field is required. It wont let you post without an amount.

Generally speaking, that's how I sell everything on here. Reduce the price until it sells or pull it if it falls below a price I want to sell it.
