A.H. Stephens state park

Has anyone fished at this park? what kinds of fish and is it worth a two hour drive ??? thanks Doug

Nice little out of the way place for camping but I have never had luck fishing there.

No matter what kind of fish might be there, they will all be doing the same thing as the fish in Concrete, Alabama or Saccron, South Carolina. Start out with an early morning 1/8oz jig with a mister twister (color depends on the water). Then switch to a 1/8-1/4oz spiinerbait (color the water) until about 2-4 hours after that. Then move to a Carolina rig with a 4-6" Zoom plastic. Reverse after lunch. Happy fishing!
