So we have a community minded young adult who actually cares enough about his neighborhood to walk around and pick up litter. He has frightened off peeping toms and potential burglars and does not even slightly come off as a rogue mercenary mall ninja, just an awkward kid with a sense of responsibility. Of course, the idiot neighbor has an irrational fear of an inanimate object and has clearly taught her offspring to feel that way too. Clearly she would prefer to just rely on the government protect her and her family.

EDIT: By the way, that "news story" was a typical example of clear cut anti-gun bias in the news media. "Neighbors are scared" "Out of control" blah blah blah.

What we'll never know is how many times he has already done that by simply making his rounds. Its pretty well known that even hardened gangbangers look for easy targets of opportunity. He is a living example of how the mere presence of a citizen with a gun can prevent crimes.

i think he means well but i do agree, i think he is a little off. i think he will become a target to someone. by the time he need to pull the gun off his shoulder and put a mag in it he will have a couple holes in him already.

I think we could all put together enough money for a mossberg maverick. When it comes to neighborhoods, I'm always a little leery of over penetration. Shotgun might be best.
