Here are my total gains over time on two stocks and a mutual:

Rigetti Computing +1111.11%
Spirit Airlines -92.84%
S&P 500 Index Fund +21.17%

Rigetti has gone negative since I bought and may go again. I will probably lose 100% of the Spirit. The index fund has always posted postive overall with gains greater than bonds, CDs and any savings accounts.

I must have gotten in at a less better time as my RGTI is up 70.89%.
SOUN is up 108.85%
IONQ is up 92.67%

However, I have a few dogs that will get show the door if they don't perform after the CES bump. I haven't had them very long, so taking a chance with them and not a lot of money involved.

This is what my group looks like; but is not weighted to reflect returns this high.

Spirit Airlines is indeed a total loss. .gov blocked all their merger plans. They completed bankruptcy. Stockholders get nada. I gambled a small amount and bought entertainment and education.

Meanwhile, the S&P 500 is up a cumulative 125% over the five year.

I got rid of my RGTI and Soun a while back to cut the losses. I also sold several things and went into cash positions expecting a correction to happen and take advantage of discounted prices. I have several things I'm watching the trends before I get into them.

Sounds like a good plan. Also have 10 to 12 positions to spread the risk
