You can try the Atlanta Secondary Bourbon market and meet up local instead of shipping, the only downside is prices are a lot lower local but you can network and meet really solid people with connections.

I have had the pleasure of drinking and owning some of the most sought after bourbons and can honestly say… the top shelf is a waste of money!

Getcha a bottle of any year Elijah Craig barrel proof or even a Wild Turkey 101… those are obtainable, drinkable, and won’t run a mortgage payment to sip!

Longleaf Distillery in Macongo has a very nice "borrowed" bourbon while they work on their own recipe.
