What did Beretta indicate caused the issue?

They are saying it had to either be a loose choke tube or it was obstructed in some manner per my dealer. In other words "user error".

We have one that has 10's of thousands of rounds with no issues. Used to belong to a World Champion shooter. Dove, skeet, sporting clays, Pheasants, you name it, it's shot it. All different shells too. Crazy. Beretta doesn't want to buy into it being a factory issue. I had less than 300 rounds through it at the time of issue. I think my son has the pics. I'll see if I can load em soon

Seems that they could help you out with a better price on the barrel….

I blew an HK pistol apart years ago….they gave me a new frame and rebuilt it for cost $190..and I know Glock has helped lots of self proclaimed gunsmiths.
