Academy Sports - Primers and Powder

I was at Academy Sports last night on 141& 400 watching girlfriend go on spending spree and I looked down at the end of the archery isle and they had Winchester Primers in every size @ $3.99 per 100. They also had plenty of Triple Seven powder not what I was looking for but still encouraging. I had been looking for Large rifle but could never find any except online. They said they are going to slowly start adding more reloading stuff in the store

That is encouraging. Not a great price on primers but I bet if they get serious with it the prices could come down.

I agree but if you only need a couple thousand and can't find them elsewhere or dont want to pay hazmat fee,

They told me that they will soon start stocking smokeless powders and brass, didn't mention bullets. Stocking smokeless powders will be nice. All of their stores will not stock reloading supplies. I kind of got the impression they are trialing it right now.

There online store is now listing RCBS and Hornady dies and other equipment.
