Well went this morning and noticed a few higher prices

American Eagle 20rd 55 grain 8.99
Independence 5.56 9.99
Winchester super x 8.99

Also saw some 9 a dollar or two more a box, will this be the new norm?

As far as the new "norm" it could very well be, at least for a while, and heres my reasoning behind it. While its true manufacturers are behind and the supply needs to catch up, the problem is so many people were caught unawares so now you have people that will continue to stockpile ammo for a long time. I think people's normal "limits" will and have been increased, so whereas a person might have had a 1k round stock, now its 2k or 5k. So we'll have that to endure but I think prices will stabilize and when the demand does drop or when the supply catches up I wouldn't be surprised to see the prices go down back to pre December prices.
