1988 I was getting gas off Ponce de leon just down from an account I had just worked at the Starving Marvin. A older black man was getting gas beside me when a young looking dirty dressed black male came up on his side. He asked " you got any spare ....before he could say change the black man said loud GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME...HE TOOK A STEP TOWARDS THE GUY...the guy was stunned and left. The black man looked at me and smiled..said you cant be nice to them and you dont want them bums near. If you give them 50 cents they ask for more. If you give them a dollar they ask for more. Same account where the year before the black male that shot 3 lawyers with a 25 auto killed 2 blinded the 3rd when the bullet shot from the side went thru both eyes.
I was getting a Subway and just finnished and walked to my car. A 6 foot 5 thin black male waa at the front of my car. I was at the driver side between 2 cars and he said can I ask you a question? Now I was wearing a suit and had a Colt 1911 officer model and put my hand on it atbmy back and said get the hell away from me. He stopped turned and said one day you will need help and I wont help. Well less than 2 hours later about 1.6 miles away at Marta he shot another Lawyer in a suit and Marta officer pulled a gun on him and he dropped his gun and said don't shoot. The Kroger on Ponce de Leon was my customer and a girl that helped me order there non food items...watches, hair care,razors,tapes,batteries, said the killer worked as a butcher...made great money but was fired due to staying out high on crack was the shooter. I described the guy next door at Subway and she said thats him. She said he blamed the whiteman and ended up killing 4 and wounded 2 others with a 25 auto. The news didn't make a big deal about it.

Crazy! Lesson here is to stay strapped and keep your head on a swivel.
