Accosted at bass pro shop!

Tineshare salepeople are lower than gypsy grifters, politicians and prostitutes.

I take that back. Prostitutes provide an actual service.

I got an email that looked like it was from Marriott offering some kind of deal. I was thinking about booking it but something didn't look quite right. Got into the fine print and, lo and behold, it said we were required to attend a time share sales pitch. There's no way I would agree to that and the way they buried it in such small print made me think it was intentionally deceptive.

Went to bass pro shop today in Acworth to just look around and was accosted by three different
a-holes salesmen trying to sell me vacations, credit cards and cruises. They each tried to block me from walking by! Had to get rude with the last one. I hate going there now. I just want to shop!

I walk through the archery isle to avoid them.

Bass Pro is always like that, most of the time they are not Bass Pro employees but vendors. Super annoying.

Cableas has the employees going around asking you if you had their credit card. Like 3-4 people per visit. I told them I got tired of answering, one guy told me just to lie and say I had one and they would leave me alone. I told him I should not have to lie, just to come into this store to spend money.

so basically quit going for these reasons.

I use to frequent the store as well. I go through a lot of boots and I love their Silent Stalker line. Of course I would grab a few other things while I was in there. Strictly online now and only for the boots. Haven't been in a couple years because of the vendors always bothering me at checkout. How in the WORLD does Bass Pro not understand that this kind of harassment is driving away customers? Someone gets paid six or seven figures to think tank this kind of ****, absolutely insane.

I treat high pressure salesmen the same way I do panhandlers - I look them square in the face when they start talking and say "no", then walk right on by them. Works every time...

Last time I was in a Cabela's was the Beast from the East in Hamburg, PA like 3 years ago. It was a really nice BIG store & the help were actually very nice....
