**Account recouped after hack**

So a first for me. Been a member for quite some time with a good rep.

Hadnt been on here for a few months and someone found me on Facebook to tell me they had been scammed by my acct on here.

Just got my acct unlocked and password reset.

I can now see several sale items of optics.

Anything further I need to do from here? If you were in talks of anything for sale by me in the last few months that was not me unfortunately.

I suggest using 2 step verification. Short version; anytime someone logs in using a new device you will receive an email notification asking for verification. You can find 2 step verification under passwords and security.

My original account got hacked and banned accordingly also. I am still waiting to get mine reinstated. I'll definitely set up 2 step once I can get recovered.

I never offered my shotgun for sale, but I mentioned it here in some prior threads here YEARS AGO about shooting clays.

Last week out of the blue I got an urgent Private Message here at ODT from what appears to be a longtime member here, saying he wants to buy it, name my price, but to only call him on the phone. He won't respond to private messages.

Hmmm....I wonder if his account got hacked too!!??

Been there done that 2 step verification should be required, same thing hacker was peddling super cheap optics and a warning for anyone if it says the payment account is not from the USA DONT SEND IT!!
