Adventure Outdoors is not done Fighting

I wish bloomburg would put blame where blame is due... his scumbag residents. They are the ones committing the crimes... not the gun dealers. Noooooo dont blame them for being scum. Blame the hard working people at gun stores. Ugh. I hate that guy and all the scumbags in new york, chicago, washington DC and any other anti gun city.

No you said NY not NYC you spoke holistically of all the state by failing to classify what you were discussing. I might be a prick but damnit I try to understand why people do the things they do. You Hate NYC? Have you ever been there or are you judging on party lines because Bloomberg is a nut. You are so quick to classify the entire city as terrible and liberal yet refuse to set foot there. Sounds like you are making impromptu judgments about a group of people you have never met. Thanks for doing that but please keep your opinions about entire groups of people to yourself.

Okay, whatever. Have you not been to a Braves/Yankees game in your f'in life? I don't have to go there to know that most of its residents are appallingly obnoxious. I have family that have friends from NY and they are flat out embarrassing to go anywhere with. They talk louder than a jetliner, and ***** and moan about everything - often causing a scene with our waiter/waitress. Oh, I was also at the last old Fulton Stadium game and talk about pricks... I saw some New Yorkers talking sh*t to LITTLE KIDS that had Braves outfits on. Every NYCer I've ever encountered anywhere seems to lack shame, common sense, and even a slight level of sophistication.

FWIW, being a prick (as you admit) steers people TOWARD the stereotype.

People are pretty much people where ever you go. There are attributes in certain sections, states, countries that seem different. After you get to know the people that you think are so different then you find out it's not that big of deal.

Even liberal have SOME good to them...at least that is what I've been told...LOL

Stereotypes exist because they are generally true. Most New Yorkers (hell most everyone I met in NY/NJ) are loud, obnoxious, and have mannerisms that we southerners consider to be rude. Sometimes its intentional but many times its not. Politics aside, we southerners tend to view people in the north eastern part of the country as being boisterous and rude just like they consider us to be slow talking hillbillies. Its two completely different cultures. In the grand scheme of things we are all Americans, even if we dont always get along. The unification of the country after 9/11 proved that.

Yes to the braves and Yankees, Yes to a Boston Yankees game. Good thing I am not from NYC so you cannot put me under your little label. I was born in Nyskayuna NY and Lived most of my life right next too, as in it was across the street from my home, the Saratoga Battlefield. Where I grew up, 16 acres was more rural than most of GA. If you have never been to NY or NYC you will never understand the attitude of I have seen this SH*t before and I didnt see nothing. You judge me for vehemently defending where I am from just a like southern will do when challenged about being a coon-a** prick hillbilly. You judge people at a sports game, where talking sh*t is part of the activity when you are a fan rooting for a team you arbitrarily picked for some reason. Have you ever lived in a major city where things are louder 24/7? That is why people from the city talk louder than other people. The attitude problem comes from the city where you have to fight to be heard, get ahead and survive.

I am a prick when agitated, who is not? I just as much steer people to stereotypes as much as your statements steer towards fascism. Your judgements of where I am from, who I could be and what I do are just as bad as the ones I made about southern folks. I changed my mind. It may be too late for you but go ahead and try.

If it was not for those loud obnoxious Northeastern people you all seem to jump on the bandwagon of disliking, there would be no South. If it was not for the Uppity Northern Folk there would still be slaves. If it were not for uppity northern women there would be no womens rights. If it were not for uppity northerners there would be rampant racism in the south that would be legally entrenched.. You know Just saying.

Southern Stereotypes make northerners just as mad. Yet going native is the best way to change opinions.

I'll say this and I'm done - I never judged YOU. You're the one that jumped my sh*t for comments about Bloomberg and his lemmings.

There's also a line between rooting for a team and being a complete douchebag. And if you want people not to stereotype NYCers, don't try to defend their actions when they act in a rude and obnoxious manner.
