Adventure Outdoors Range

X how many ever on the brass grates

The only good thing I got out of going there was they seem to be filtering all their pistol ammo to the range. They had a 250 pack of 45 ACP for sale for range use only. So I bought it, shot 50 rounds, took my other 200 and went home. :D

I went there for the first (and likely last) time a couple of weeks ago. I definitely agree with the range seeming louder. And I also didn't care for the guy lurking in the background. Felt like he was going to pounce if I didn't follow the DVD to the letter. I did like the electronic gizmo that moved the target exactly the distance you typed in! No guessing how far out it really was.

I hope he does pounce if you aren't following the video, that is his job. Do you think that you are so good that you don't have to follow the rules they set forth?

i was surprised that will all the room in their new location that the range has very limited space behind the shooting stalls. its really tight and not nearly as nice as other ranges such as sandy springs.

EXCELLENT! LOL! Yep, I've done that too, range only, no problem...

I like a grated floor, and wear a wrist mounted brass catcher if I want the brass I'm slinging. It bothers the heck out of me to be rolling around on brass, or have some dude pushing a broom between my legs.

I didn't purposely NOT follow the rules, and no, I don't think I'm perfect. And nobody should do stupid things. But when the slide is locked back, the mag is out and I know for a fact it's empty, I don't want to feel like I'm going to get kicked-out if I happen to set the pistol down with the port down, instead of up. Or when I get there and open the pistol case, the muzzle may not be pointing down range. And I know for a fact it's not loaded, because I won't bring it to the range loaded. I have no problems with following the rules, but NONE of us are perfect. I'll go somewhere else where I can concentrate on the shooting, instead of the perception of wondering when the nanny state will pounce.

Ga firing line is we're its at. I like the full view window design. I can go in and see if there are any unsafe people there before I rent a lane.
