Advice for Ossabaw Hunt

We took our own boat.
Main advice would be watch for diamondbacks and gators.
Just stay well away from the water. (Story about a ranger here.)
We saw a gator the size of a vw bus.
Killed a diamondback in camp.
Bring a good camera for backup.

Gators will walk across the island on occasion. Magnolia trees as mentioned above might be climb able, palm trees will be you other option if you can’t find a pine. If you climb up high on the marshy areas at low tide you will have a good view into the marsh grass. The tides will dictate game movement.

1st day we went and hunted all day, second day we slept in and went out when trailer went to pick up. Saw more deer that day in mid day

I’ve never hunted the All-Day stands up North…..what #’s are they?…….64,65,66?
Always hear a lot of shooting up that way though.
