Ever thought about hunting Africa? It can be cheaper than an elk hunt, and you will come back with multiple trophies. Almost guaranteed. (Sight in and practice with your dang gun!)
It's not hard, and you certainly will never forget it. And it's probably not as expensive as you think. Hunts are available at a lot of price levels.
I may get overwhelmed here, but I'd love to point new guys in the right direction-- and if you don't already have a friend that has done it, it's a daunting subject. Getting started is hard... but I can tell you the "deal", and get you started with the questions for the Professional Hunters/Outfitters.
I have nothing to sell, and no kick-backs or anything. I'd just like folks to enjoy it while we still can! You'll never forget it, though you'll never forget skydiving either, and that is certainly cheaper, though nothing to hang on your wall. But if you love hunting, Africa beckons. It is astounding... the hunting grounds are covered in droppings like a dang barnyard.
Anyway, I'll be happy to point anyone down the road to hunting African game or setting up an African hunt. Just PM me.
Again, I have nothing to sell, and there are undoubtedly people on the ODT with FAR more African hunts, but it's intimidating if you don't know how to start, and what questions to ask.
For whatever this is worth... I'd go every year I have left on earth, if I could afford it. : )
Holler if interested.
