Ahhhh great. Bought a stolen iPhone...

I don't know if it's a scam but I do know the guy who, I don't know, is black. The "real" owner I been talking to, happens to be his wife, sounds white. They are going to meet me later tonight for the phone.
Wait, what? I hope you are not saying you bought the phone from the "real owner's" wife?

Lol what I'm saying is I don't know if they are the scammer. I just know the guy who sold it to me was black but the real owner of the iPhone wife is white. I'll know tonight if her husband (the owner of the iPhone) is white or black. I've been communicating with the owners wife because the number was his wife's number he put on the message.

This is so confusing. Can you clearly tell us what happened in a couple sentences? Who is the guy you kinda don't really know?
Good luck. ;)
All I know is I was out $350 the seller would be out more than that in headaches one way or the other.

Yep. Doing the right thing is returning something you found.

Buying something that it turns out was "found" by a "friend" of another "friend" and then sold stinks of something fishy. I'd be making sure they both proved their case.

im not a fan of the PO-PO because have never helped me when I had things stolen
BUT
this sounds sketchy
take it to PO PO tell them what happened, tell the wife she can collect her hubby iphone from the PO PO (she/he will then have to prove its their phone)
and walk away and chock it up to
got my ass ripped off
stay the **** off liarslist
