Some guy sold me a stolen or "lost" iPhone. Didn't suspect it since price was right and he had it logged in the home screen so I could see if it worked. Went home to restore it with my information and screen comes up saying "please call 555-555-5545 lost phone".

It was a person I knew back in high school. Actually it was his friend who sold it to me so I didn't suspect much.

I did. His wife answered and told me her husband dropped it while working and guess someone picked it up.
