Maybe he should know firearm laws if he's gonna sell firearms. That being said, I did apologive to the manager while I was on the phone with him just to let him know that this wasn't all his employees fault.

He's a retail sales employee, he only knows and goes by he's been told by his managers to do to keep his job.
You insulted him and he fired back at you like most people would have done and you feel threatened because he responded to a tone that you initiated; he probably felt threatened as well by your demeanor at the time.
Apologizing to the manager isn't the same as apologizing to the person that you affronted, if an apology is merited, it is owed to him, not the manager.
I don't have a dog in this hunt and not poking the bear, but just think about it for a moment, if someone called you names and insulted your intelligence, how would you respond ?

If she tried to purchase it on Saturday and was delayed, today, Thursday, August 3 is the first day she can pick it up.

On the other hand the store is not bound by the minimum federal time limit if it wants to extend the time.
