As an RBGC member, I think it's fairly easy to to get a couple folks to sponsor you...as previously stated....show up at one of the matches, act like you are a normal human, and you can probably get a couple folks to help you out...
as for the voting...unless your a life member voting really doesn't matter...there is only one spot for non life members to vote.....it's the spot Luke is hoping to get, which I will be watching...the life members run the show, and it's impossible to become one...

All voted by life members.....slice it any you want....not that I care, I'm a member because it works for me.....
just do not disillusion yourself....the life members run the show....it appears that they have done a fine job, don't get me wrong, just don't fool yourself into thinking you have a say in how it's run

Life members cannot vote for annual directors. The biggest problem at River Bend is there are about 30 to 40 people who do everything. Out of 2000 annual members, maybe 100 show up to the annual meeting. Almost no one attends the monthly board meetings. If you want to see things get done at the club, GET INVOLVED!!!
