always a waste of time.

If working for the government is an option you'd consider, check out the CIA, Federal Protective Service, Treasury (Secret Service), etc. many of those agencies don't list on USAJOBS. You have search for their openings on the agency web sites. There were several federal agencies represented at a recruiting seminar at my son's school when he was getting ready to graduate.

Check out the various state agencies, too. A buddy of mine got on with the Montana Bureau of Investigation when he got out.

Semper Fi. Good Luck

I have 2 degrees in political science and 1 in criminal justice. What I am looking, at this point, anything that will help me pay off my student loans, so a real job, I have given up on hopes and dreams. I currently work at moe's for $11, so something much better then that.

Yes, I have never seen anything good come from it.

Sorry to say but this is part of the problem. Degrees are designed to teach you a skill set that is then applied to a particular field of work. You cant say ..."anything that will pay off my loans." Sounds like your military educational experience is most appropriate for LE. Dont know if this is what you want to do but sometimes you have to go with what you are best suited for. I hear his kind of thing all the time. People pay good money to get degrees in a field that has very limited potential for employment, then complain about it. I dont know if this is you or not. Good luck in your search.

Went to another job fair today and as usual just a total waste of time. Pay checks for patriots they called it. Only thing there was college wanting you to go to spend you GI college fund, and low wage blue collar jobs. 8yrs military service and 3 college degrees and can't find a real job. Its hard to keep the faith.

Sorry to say I am looking also.... I am trying to stay in my routine and such of getting up early and doing what ever I can around the house... just to keep from getting discouraged.... Hang in there... post your skill set and I will keep an eye open for jobs that match those skills..... Hang in there....
